Vision

A permanent space to make your voice heard

A bold vision for global decision-making

10 million citizens. One Global Citizens Assembly.

In a world where institutions often struggle to keep pace with rapid technological, environmental, and social changes, the GCA offers a hopeful new model.

One where power is distributed, citizens have a direct voice, and solutions are co-created by people from all walks of life.

Redefining democracy for the 21st century
Our vision is to establish the Assembly as a legitimate, lasting, and influential institution. The Assembly’s organisers have followed The Institutional Architecture Lab’s (TIAL) four-phase framework for designing and establishing new institutions. They’ve also considered it in terms of three major threats facing humanity: climate change, AI and infectious disease.
