A proven practice,
scaled for global challenges
Enabling people everywhere to shape policies on global challenges.
Community Assemblies
A global movement that starts with 10 people and 4 hours
Community Assemblies are local conversations with global
impact. Anyone, anywhere can host one – at a school, in a park, around a kitchen table. Together, you’ll
talk, plan, and act on the issues that matter most – from climate and food systems to AI to priorities in
your area. Every assembly feeds into a bigger picture, informing the Global Citizens’ Assembly and
influencing decisions at COP30 and beyond.
Partner with us – whether you're a school, an NGO, or a group of neighbours –
and help bring more voices to the table.
The Civic Assembly
Where anyone on Earth can have a seat at the table
The Civic Assembly brings together from 100 to 1,000 people, selected by lottery to reflect the
world’s population. It connects directly with global institutions to discuss urgent challenges – and
anyone on Earth could be chosen to take part.
- Lottery selection – Brings together a diverse mix of people from across the
world.
- Deliberation and dialogue – Facilitated conversations, grounded in evidence and
shared understanding, informed by lived experience.
- Connection to decision-making – Insights and decisions, which are the fruit
of collective intelligence, flow into global processes and real-world decisions.
